the summons (Ireland) (Mairead, Maayan, Marek, demi-fae, ? ?)

[Maayan]

She lifts her eyes when she sees him enter the bathroom, a soft giggle is heard as she watches him get naked, purring softly at the sight before her.

Nope definitely not foolish at all.

Well in her mind, others might think otherwise but certainly not her. But she wasn't concerned with them at this moment in time.


"Mmmmm.. It's nice and warm in here." another soft giggle.

His gaze remained on her as he entered the bathroom.  Barely cognizant of the surroundings as he walked towards her in the low tub, it seeming to be more of one that was roman in style.  "Nice."  as he left a trail of clothing behind him and stepped down the steps into the tub.  The four inch rim kept the water from sloshing out over the floor, but the tub itself reminded him of one he'd seen at an excavation site shortly after Dmitri had become his maker.

"Nice." he repeated as he sat down on the ledge next to her, stretching his legs out until his toes brushed the far side seating ledge.  "Why do I get the feeling they made these for....parties"  more like orgies, he thought.

Outside the chamber, Isla was reporting her findings to Mairead.  Visia met up with her before they both headed to the throne room.

She grins softly as he climbs into the tub with her. She laughs softly, "Probably because they did." she giggles a little.

She believed someone was spying on her. That was usually what happened, whether directed to or not. And Mairead wondered why she didn't feel like this wasn't home. The only home she remembered she didn't have someone constantly telling her sister what she was doing.

Taking a bath sponge and soap, she starts to wash him, smiling softly. The scent was more woodsy than anything else. A nice fragrance that she really enjoyed and thought he smelled good enough to eat.

Perhaps another time. She  starts with his neck and moves down his shoulders and chest, humming softly as she cleans him carefully, his arms and back, then kissing him softly. Then she cleans his hair and face a little with a grin. Then another kiss.

Setting that sponge aside she takes a second with a different soap, more flowery, but so much closer to her actual scent or maybe it is her actual scent. "Your turn." handing it to you with a grin."

He was only half joking but at her words he shot her a look then glanced around the larger room.  It was twice at least larger than any bathroom he'd ever been in.  And he'd been in some palatial homes.   When he looked back to the doorway, he noticed it was no longer and opening with rectangular edges but was now an archway that divided the sitting room from the bathroom.

"Ok.....no.." before shaking his head closing his eyes and focused on her.  He was definitely seeing things.  What magic did they have in here that affected a vampire in such a way?  "You sure it's safe?"  Safe, he was believing was a relative term.  the smallest of fae seemed determined to draw his blood in one way or another.

She didn't allow him much time to think on their surroundings when she began to slather a soapy sponge over his chest.  Well now, this was much more pleasant.   He allowed his thoughts to drift off and let his focus be on the soft slathering of soap across his body. "That smells good. I like it..."  before clearing his throat and sighed into silence. Her gentle ministrations were so relaxing.

So much so that her words later, "your turn" handing him the flowery scented soaped sponge; drew him heavily from his daze of comfort.

"Damn...I could ..definitely..."  with a lazy smile as he took the sponge from her and shifted his body, dunking beneath the pool of water.  "could get used to this too..." he murmured quietly as the warm water washed over his body and he settled in behind her.  Her body glistened with droplets of water and he found himself leaning closer to inhale the scent of her skin.  It a lighter scent of the soap laden sponge.  One and the same, it seemed.   

He wasn't ashemed to admit, he took his time as he soothed the lathered sponge over her body, now and again letting his fingers brush against her skin. 

"It makes a little more sense now..."   his previous question seeming to be answered.    He was getting the small understanding of just how dangerous this court could be....and it wasn't just threats of swords and needles.

She chuckles softly as shew atched him glance around the room. It was a pretty large bathroom. She wasn't sure she ever used every space in the bathroom.

Oh the magic didn't just affect Vampires. She found herself getting caught by the changing every so often. This was a different place. Magic was in the very fabric of the building. It was alive as much as any person in this place. Some days, even for her the reality of it was a bit unsettling.

"Yes." nodding in response to the safe question. And safe was a very relative term here. Though those that wanted to draw his blood also wanted to draw hers. And either it was to get to Mairead or because they just didn't like anyone at all. She wasn't even sure they liked Mairead, though she was sure they disliked herself more than anyone else.

She was glad that her minstrations helped him relax. Every once in a while he'd feel kisses or touches peppered along his shoulders and neck as she moves the sponge, enjoying this intimate moment as if they were making love.

Nodding softly, "me too. We might have to do this more often." soft melody of her voice dancing through the room.

She shifted as he took the sponge and smiled as he sniffed her skin, then started with the soft strokes along her flesh. It was very relaxing, she could enjoy this more often.

She knew what that comment was referring to and she nods softly, her hand caressing his legs as he cleans her and her eyes closing softly. A smile settling on her lips.

He would have taken even longer to bath her but knowing they were expected to attend a formal diner, he didn't want to be late, but more, he wanted to see the lay of land as much as he could. 

Eventually making their way from the tub, he began to dry her off with the towel. Granted, it was a slow movement of the towel over her skin.

"What should I expect?"  bringing up the dinner. "I suppose it's not just eating dinner, is it?"

The memory of the smallest fae had not really been a concern but if there were a large amount of them, he had the impression they'd be like being staked on a hill of fireants.  Small but deadly.

[Maayan]

That's why she didn't more than wash him. It was intimate enough for now, it promised more later after they were alone again. She would show him around a little, though there really wasn't much aside from the way they came in, the throne room, her room and Mairead's rooms.

She took a smaller towel and towel dried her hair allowing the curls to fall softly even if a little damp along her back. Once he finished drying her, she dried him from head to toe, leaving the odd kiss here and there.. again, promises of what would come later when they were alone.

Sighing softly at his question, then laughing a little, "Honestly, it's been a long time since I've attended one. Don't eat until Mairead is present and gives the nod to eat. I will be sitting beside her, you beside me." because as far as anyone here is concerned, and her as well.. he is her mate, her other half.


"Don't let the demi-fae, those little ones that found us, intimidate you. If need be I will take care of them." she gives a bit of a sly smile and winks at him. She'd learned a lot about herself when she was gone. Things she wasn't sure she would have learned here, but she really didn't know.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, fingers running through his hair and meeting his gaze before kissing him softly before hesitantly pulling back. "Ok time to get ready." smiles softly and moves towards the closet, her hand holding his. It was big enough for both of them. "I wil need help with the back of my dress."

"Intimidate?  No, they won't do that.  I've lived with Dmitri for years and have heard stories that will curl your toes."  he chuckled at that and gave himself over to her kisses and touches. 

The closet, large enough for the two of them notwithstanding, created a cozy spot and more intimate touches that had him eager to get the dinner through and the necessity for being at someone else's beck and call.

"I hope they don't have other things planned after dinner," he nuzzled against her neck, his hands cradling her hips as he pulled her against him.  It was too easy to be diverted.  After all, he was in a cozy spot, no lab to worry about...it was all about her at that moment.

She grins, nodding softly, "Well the fae aren't all the sweet and nice many stories make them out to be either." soft giggle, "I'm sure I could give you a few toe curlers as well."


A sigh as he nuzzles her neck, nodding, "Me too. They usually don't other than mingling a little." she enjoyed the attention, though she wished they weren't forced to be here. She would speak to Mairead tomorrow and maybe she could come up with a compromise.

A few moments and she kisses his lips softly, "Come on, we need to get ready." a soft giggle. Yes, diversions were nice. But here they come with consequences.

She reluctantly pulled away and started getting her hair and makeup done. Both were simple but elegant, then she slipped her dress on. She wore nothing underneath it as she slipped the dress up over her ass, then belly, then breasts. Turning her back to him, "Zip please." She could have used magic, but she really did like his hands on her and what a better reason.. not that she needed any, just him being there was enough.

Once she was zipped up on her back her wings would appear, large gossamer wings seeming to unfurl from the bare portion of her back and flutter as if shaking themselves out and shimmering. It sent a wave of shimmer through her dress as well causing a soft shudder of pleasure through her as she bites back a whimper. This was part of her formal look in feywild

[Meriel]

She slipped from the warmth of the bath with a soft sigh as she wrapped a thick warm towel around her soft skin. She had heard through the grape vine of gossip that her other sister had returned, and not alone either. She hoped it did not foreshadow trouble on the horizon as she moved on dainty feet to her closet to find the gown she was going to wear for dinner tonight. It was cause of celebration that Maayan had come home no matter how or why at least to her it was. She settled on a shimmering blue green dress that would hug her curves, and compliment her eyes.

Hanging it near her vanity she set to work fixing her hair. She slipped into the gown letting the towel pool on the floor around her feet before stepping over it. She would have to have someone finish zipping her up before she would accent it further with some simple jewelry. A soft pink lipstick completed her look for the evening before she would go and see if Mairead needed anything before they were due to arrive at dinner.

"It's like the Twilight zone," he murmured as he finished dressing her and then himself. His suit was black with a shot of color in the lining and buttons.  Otherwise, he looked like he was attending a funeral. 

Maayan however, looking ravishing in her gown and with her wings out to provide an additional lightness of both color and being. "You look nice,"  Nice didn't cover it as he smiled and held back from embracing her again, lest he mar the look she was planning to display o the family and..well..the court.

"What are the odds we can leave dinner early?" with a slight grin, he didn't expect them to be able to, but it was worth a shot.

[Maayan]

She nods softly, "Yes..yes it is, very much like that." even for her, though she didn't really grow up in this world. Well she doesnt remember much of her childhood prior to meeting Mairead.

She smiles, "Thank you.You look handsome yourself." pressing in to kiss him softly.

At his question, she smiles, "Ummm.. probably not very good."

She suddenly has a thought, smiling, "I should warn you, I do have a twin." she doesn't know if she told him that. If she didn't it was because she hadn't expected to come back so soon so she thought she had time. She didn't grow up with Meriel either, well how would she know, she doesn't remember her childhood.

She presses a kiss to his lips. He could tell she wasn't looking forward to this. While she liked dressing up, she hated being the center of attention.. well intentionally so. She did know that sometimes her personality made it seem natural, but this.. this wasn't her.


"We can do this!" nodding softly and taking his hand in hers to step out of the closet to the main room and think about heading to the court.
