"You've got to be kidding me" her tone was flat and disbelieving as she stood outside The Pandemonium Club. The entrance had been changed. The facade now appearing to be an old ramshackled multileveled building, no longer the neon light and shiny black facade which normally greeted them.
"What the hell are they doing?"
"Hell is a pretty interesting way to put it,"
She glanced back over her shoulder to see Pluto behind her. "Hell and you? Did you have something to do with this?"
"Me? Of course not. I don't care for being on this side of the river."
"Then why are you here?"
"I'm on a mission....a presonal nature." he shrugged then looked at the building before them.
"Are you going to enter?" a slight smirk on his face.
"I don't know." she admitted, eying the broken boards of the facade. "I wanted a drink...relax.."
"You can't relax in there? It's just the outside." he tried to encourage her.
"No. No, it's never just the outside. If they did this; there is something different inside."
"Afraid?"
"Fuck you," she shot back at him as she reached out for the doorknob, twisting it to open the door slightly. The expected music wasn't heard. "told you," she glanced back to speak to Pluto.
"fuck...chicken shit." it was nothing she'd tell him if he actually stood there but he was gone and her words lost in the breeze.
"No fair..." shaking her head as she slipped into the darkness of the club which was less a club now than a haunted house.
